Cookie & Privacy Policy
Last updated: 01/08/2026
A Few Quests a Day is operated by SiL Learning Hub. We take children's privacy very seriously and only collect what we need to deliver the service.
What we collect
- Parent account: name, email, hashed password (or your Google ID if you sign in with Google).
- Child profile: display name (first name or nickname only), year level, exam focus, a username and PIN you set, plus quest results (questions seen, answers given, time taken).
What we don't collect
- We never ask for the child's email, real surname, school, address, or photos.
- We don't sell or share your or your child's data with third-party advertisers.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We keep our use deliberately light:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to load, remember your cookie choice, and keep registration forms working. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — anonymous, aggregated data about which pages parents read and where visitors come from, so we can improve the quests. Only set if you press Accept all.
We do not use advertising cookies, do not sell data to third parties, and do not run cross-site tracking.
Legal basis & parental consent
We rely on parental consent (UK GDPR Art. 8) to process a child's data. A child profile can only be created from inside a confirmed parent account, after the parent has accepted these terms.
Where data is stored
Account and quest data is stored in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase) inside the EU. Passwords are hashed; quest data is encrypted in transit.
Your rights
You can export, correct or delete your account and your child's data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing Hi@SharingisLearning.com. Deleting your parent account also deletes all linked child profiles and quest history.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
